The Desert AIDS Project invites you to sten a mesage of hope. Join in the Annual Desert Aids Walk. Someday, when there's a cure, we will hold a bondfire made up of red ribbons in memory of those we have lost. Until that day, we will put on foot in front of the other as wa walk through the heart of palm springs and remind our community that AIDS is not over.

1. Walking is good for you!
2. Get a team together and walk with friends or co-workers. Have a friendly competition to see who raises the most money.
3. There’s something for the entire family – face painting, entertainment, refreshments, information booths and more.
4. Check with your employer to see if there is matching gifts program. By utilizing this matching program you could DOUBLE the amount of money you raise.
5. It’s only about 2.8 miles, right through the heart of downtown Palm Springs.
6. Each walker gets a goody bag with great treats, including a commemorative T-shirt, and walkers who raise money are eligible for even more prizes.
7. There are prizes for the team with the largest number of walkers, the most money raised by a team and the most money raised by an individual.

So there’s no good reason not to Walk!
